Please refer to our Helpful Forms section for a guide on what to ask your insurance to determine coverage.  We do require insurance verification, including the representative's name and reference number, prior to providing the service.

Filing your insurance

We will file insurance on your behalf if we are in-network with your insurance carrier. If you have primary insurance and secondary insurance, we may be in-network with one, but not the other. If we are in-network with your primary insurance but not your secondary insurance, we will file the primary insurance on your behalf and you will be responsible for filing the secondary insurance. You will be responsible for your co pay, co insurance, and/or deductible prior to or at the time of your appointment.

If we are in-network with your secondary insurance, but out-of-network with your primary, you will be responsible for the full payment at the time of service. We will be happy to file your secondary insurance if you bring us your EOB showing that you filed your primary insurance . In the event that we receive reimbursement from your secondary insurance, we will reimburse you the amount we received from the secondary insurance. We have no way to file secondary insurance without an EOB from your primary insurance. We are under time constraints to file insurance and if we miss the filing deadline, the insurance company will not reimburse us and you will be fully responsible for the session fee. If you would like us to file your secondary insurance, please provide us with your EOB by email it to [email protected] Please follow up with a phone call to ensure we received the document.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)

Depending on the Employee Assistance Program, the client is eligible for a certain number of free visits.

Oasis Counseling Center, Inc. will submit claims reimbursement forms to the EAP on your behalf. Payment will come directly to Oasis Counseling Center, Inc. from the client's company (such as the City of Burlington) or the EAP (such as ComPsych).  Your company does not receive any identifying information and your services are confidential.

We do not accept EAP from private insurance, even if we accept that insurance.  For example, we may accept Cigna, but we do not accept Cigna EAP.

Please do not hesitate to call us if you have questions or concerns about your insurance coverage. Ultimately, you are responsible for understanding your coverage and for tracking your number of visits, but we will do whatever we can to assist you with determining coverage.

Co pay, Co insurance, Deductibles, and any other out-of-pocket payment is due at the time services are rendered.


Reduced Fee
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.


We accept cash, check, and credit cards.  We have a 1.50 convenience fee for credit card use. Payment is due prior to or at the time services are rendered. Please bring your payment to the counseling session.  If you receive telehealth services, please call the office with your payment prior to your appointment, mail a check to be received by our office prior to your appointment, or register for auto-pay through our client portal.


Cancellation Policy
Please notify us 24 hours business hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. Clients (or guardians) will be billed for missed appointments if there was not a 24 hour ( 1 business day) notice given. Please note that insurance does not pay any portion of a missed appointment and the client or guarantor is responsible for the full payment.  Please see our Policies and Procedures tab for more information about our no-show/late-cancellation policy.
